Benson Farmers Market

They work the earth, plant the seeds, harvest the fruits, vegetables, prepare foods & baked goods. They get up early rain or shine set up their booth in hopes of seeing some old friends, making some new ones, and most of all pleasing a customer with their products.  Vendors do not make tons of money they rarely over charge and thrive on making someone happy with conversation and knowing that one more someone enjoys the fruits of their labor.  Then the real vendor sets up next week hoping that last week's customer stops by to say hi.

I am a vendor wanna-be! One of these days I hope to have the opportunity to feel the satisfaction that the Benson Farmer's Market vendors feel each day they prepare and set up their goods.

I have bottled up my vanilla extract (not fancy but darn yummy), sewed a couple of feed bag totes, made some goat milk soap, and I am constantly baking.  Wish I had a licensed kitchen and I would bring some of my home made goat cheese or fresh wild raspberry sauce and jam.

Vendors sure love what they do.
